July STM news
Hey, it’s July! Here’s a recap of all the exciting stuff we’ve had going on over the last few weeks.
We’re VERY excited to announce a new collaboration between Small Town Monsters and our friends Jessi and Joe Doyle of Hellbent Holler! The Monster on Morris Mountain: Bigfoot in The Uwharries arrives on August 10th on Youtube! After a chance encounter by a local hiker is reported to Jessi and Joe by area researcher Michael Kirkpatrick, the team sets off into the Uwharrie Mountains of North Carolina in search of the Monster on Morris Mountain - with dramatic, frightening results.
There’s a new shirt design available on the Merch shop, featuring exclusive art by our very own Zac Palmisano. If you’ve been following along on Youtube, you might have noticed that we rolled out some new logo designs recently, and now one of them is a shirt! Order yours today while supplies last!
In Kickstarter news, another round of reward merch has already gone out! Backers have received (among other things) their copies of The Siege of Ape Canyon. Thank you to everyone who supported this year's campaign, and after you’ve seen the film, let us know what you think! The next round is already in the works, so watch your email inbox for updates!
Speaking of The Siege of Ape Canyon, we’re excited to announce that we’ll have details regarding distribution in the very near future. Seth and team have been working (feverishly, if we’re being honest) behind the scenes to find the best way to get this film into your hands. The same goes for Lost Contact: UFOs after Wartime, and we’re so excited for you to see both films. Stay tuned!
In Youtube news, we have new episodes of Bigfoot Decoded, Appalachian Bigfoot Files, The Bigfoot Archives, Bigfoot: Beyond the Trail, and even a new series - Encounters - just waiting! On top of all that, you can check out Sasquatch Origins: Bigfoot in British Columbia, narrated by Mark Matzke, available right now.
Recently the crew made a trip to Vermont (and New York, and a couple other places) to shoot for From Beyond: High Strangeness in the Bennington Triangle, The Kinderhook Creature, and a yet-unannounced series. While we were there, we stumbled across a few other interesting things that we’ll be circling back to in the future. Very exciting stuff.
STM Publishing will be announcing a new title very soon. We can’t say much more than that right now, but suffice to say, it might involve monsters. We’ll see.
Be sure to follow us on social media for daily updates, previews, behind the scenes and much more. And if you haven’t signed up for our email newsletter yet, now’s a great time.
